Have you ever taken the time to list the really BIG things you have done in your life?
Notice I didn’t say good or bad things but really BIG things.
Some may be wonderfully good while other may be terribly bad.
But they were BIG and they helped to map out the direction of your life and shaped you into the person you are now.
Personally, if I were being honest I would write this list and wouldn’t want anyone to see it because some of the big bad things I’ve done should stay between only me and God.
But once I’ve written them down I would like to then write the action I took because of each big thing in a cause and effect format.
I want you to write your BIG things. Good and Bad.
Cause: At 19 I was living on my own, barely making it, not able to move forward, pay for college or get away from a troublesome relationship. As I was driving home from work one day I saw an Air Force Billboard and decided that’s what I was going to do. So I immediately turned into the parking lot walked in and had my first conversation with a recruiter. That was BIG!
Effect: This conversation led to be enlisting in the USAF and changed my life.
When you write yours I encourage you to be way more detailed. I’m just giving examples here.
After you do your complete list of BIG things and you cause and effects, I want you to let those sit for a day or two.
Then I would like you to write a statement of gratitude. Thanking all of these big things in your life.
Good and Bad.
They made you who you are and got you to where you are now.
Then you can do what you want with you statement of gratitude (keep it, burn it, rip it, bury it, whatever). BUT you have to let these things go. They are in the past.
Now some of you may be thinking where you are now isn’t so great. You may still be in stuck in the struggle or facing adversity.
However, I just gave you a HUGE tool to get yourself out of this hole you may be in.
The second part of this exercise is to now write a list of all of the BIG things you still want to do with your life. (I’m hoping here that you won’t have any bad thing on your list).
Your Future Big Thing List
The catch is to write these things in the same way you did the things from your past..
Write them as if they already happened.
For example, I want to publish a book someday soon.
Cause: In 2017 I published my first book about…..
Effect: This book was a huge success for me, both as an author and monetarily. I was congratulated by many big influencers in my niche, and now I have an opportunity to collaborate with them on a joint project.
Do this for every single BIG thing you want to do in your life.
Do not worry about how silly it may seem of how far fetched you think it is.
Everything is available to you.
These are your dreams.
You can have anything you want.
Once you get these big future things written through the cause and effect method, I want you to put them in order the best you can as far as what you would like to accomplish first.
Then, I want you to turn them ALL into daily affirmations you can say and write over and over again.
Focusing on your top three intently. Because what you focus your time, energy, and attention on will become a reality.
This is how you can get started manifesting anything you want in life, in business, in love, etc.!
I encourage you to do this as soon as you can!
Because only you have the power to change you!
