Take Your Business to a High Vibe Level

My family and I are up in the mountains of Colorado for a few days enjoying the ski season.

Even though I love having this family time there’s always a part of me (the entrepreneur part) that would love to find a quiet spot I can sit alone and work on my journaling, mindset, blogging, and creative ideas for my business!

I tend to have some amazing ideas when I am able to remove myself from my normal environment for a bit. So I was going to ski for two days and have one day all to myself to work!

I even found a gorgeous lodge next door to go and take my laptop, sit by the fire and write.

HIGH VIBE BABY!

BUT….

The universe had other plans for me this week. My eight year old became very sick in the mountains and when we took him to the hospital it was strep throat. Since all mothers know it’s much easier to take care of a sick, not to mention contagious child at home, we hightailed it back down the mountain. I left his dad up skiing because he deserves some time on the mountain.

So my high vibe has been replaced by the mom vibe for a few days.

Taking care of my Sam who’s on the mend now.

Finally getting some sleep after being up 24 hours or more with my sick child.

Disinfecting and washing everything.

I may not be at the beautiful lodge in the mountains writing but I am home and my son is getting better.

So per usual I am typing this at the kitchen table, while my sweet boy is on the couch healing.

Tomorrow will be better.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Tomorrow mercy is always new!

Tomorrow is always a clean slate where you can get your high vibe back!

If you have to switch roles for a bit, don’t stop, don’t give up.

Just wake up tomorrow and the high vibe will be back!

How You Are Sabotaging Your Money Goals In Your Business

7 Replies to “Take Your Business to a High Vibe Level”

  1. Flexibility is the key…especially when you’re a parent. I sure hope your son is feeling better. And how lucky he is to have you as his mom with the time, care and attention you’re giving him. So while the plan changed, as you said, it’s all OK. You exercise those flexibility muscles and reset the goals. And it sure sounds like you didn’t skip a beat.

  2. There are lessons to be learned from situations like these if we are willing to observe, listen and be present. Like you said it’s important to keep going. Tomorrow indeed will be another day with its own possibilities. I agree with Linda…what a blessing to have the flexibility to be there for your son in a moment where he is so vulnerable to cover him with your love and care.

  3. The greatest advantage of working for ourselves is when life throws a wrench into the day, we can always move things around and no one minds. It’s important to not judge ourselves when we have to do this. As moms, it’s a part of our job. However, we need to remember that taking care of ourselves as caregivers is also paramount. Hope your little guy feels better soon, Autumn.
