If you have been in your business a while and are slogging away doing the same ol’ thing every day and getting the same old results. I’m here to tell you it’s time for a change.
There is absolutely no reason you have to keep doing the same shit different day (SSDD) scenario. If your business is steady but not booming the way you want it to be it’s time to step up and LEAD….right NOW!
Who would you lead?
Your tribe, your followers, your potential clients, your future customers that’s who.
What are you leading them to do?
Well what do you want for your business and your life? Wealth, power, simplicity, comfort?
You lead your tribe and your clients where you want them to go.
- You want them to make micro-commitments daily to trust and build a relationship with you.
- You want them to KNOW you well enough to know you will GIVE them great content, tips, ideas along the way.
- You want them to LIKE you enough to recommend and REFER you.
- You want them to TRUST you enough to BUY from you.
But business ain’t free.
I had to make that decision a while back because I was giving so much of my knowledge away for free. The things people should have paid for. If you’re not careful people come to expect that from you.
When I finally GOT IT and realized I could be selling all of that information in my head. You know the stuff I’ve paid coaches and courses thousands of dollars to learn, I realized I’m not fucking SERIOUS about my business if I give that stuff away continuously.
I had to step up and LEAD my business in the money making direction or I would be out of business.
How are you going to lead them?
Simple…by talking to them, A LOT!
I hear from so many entrepreneurs and bloggers who don’t talk to their tribe enough.
I’m so guilty of this! I tried to be consistent but I would just run out of things to say to tell them or information to give them.
If you are being the true you and are being 100% AUTHENTIC you won’t ever run out of things to say. If people are only on your e mail list for the freebies then they may leave when you start being the real you. But that’s okay because you are building YOUR TRIBE!
Have an authentic conversation, give them some good content they can learn from, and LEAD them where you want them to go with your call to action.
You can do this in your blog posts as well as your emails.
You don’t know if you’re ready?
Okay, what’s it gonna take for you to know? What kind of numbers do you have to have, or past successes? Who says any of these things matter?
If you feel ready then you are ready. Don’t let nerves and overthinking hold you back!
Go out there and LEAD with what you already KNOW to be true.
- What lessons have you learned that you can teach?
- What are your failures and success you can share?
- What classes have you taken that you can share information from?
- What have your life experiences taught you?
Relate this back to what it is you want to create and GO FOR IT!
LEAD your people where you want them to GO!
