Have you ever tried to get your children to organize their room? Ha, you say because they will barely pick up their toys right? Well I am so excited to tell you about a fabulous new one of a kind (well two of a kind) organizing book for children that has just come out!
Organizing Book for Children
by Diane N. Quintana and Jonda S. Beattie
“Suzie is a typical, active five-year-old little girl. She loves playing with all her toys in her room and sometimes creates a real mess! When her mother asks her to pick up her room, Suzie is overwhelmed and doesn’t know how to begin. Suzie’s mother helps her complete the job by breaking the project into small tasks that Suzie is able to finish easily.”
Basic principles of organizing included in this story:
Break projects down into small steps
Sort like with like
All belongings need a home
Reward for completed tasks

What’s different about this book is it was written by two professional organizers.
Diane N. Quintana, CPO®, CPO-CD®, is the owner of DNQ Solutions, LLC. Diane founded her company in 2005. She teaches her clients how to become organized and provides them with strategies and solutions for maintaining order in their busy lives. She specializes in residential and home-office organizing in metropolitan Atlanta and in working with people challenged by chronic disorganization.
Diane also started her career after college as an elementary school teacher. Having been a teacher, raising two sons and living a life full of many moves she is definitely an expert at organizing children and adults.
Co-Author Jonda S. Beattie of Time Space Organization (TSO), located in Metro Atlanta, provides a supportive and structured approach to both residential and small business clients in time and space organization, and developing lifetime organizational skills.
Jonda also began her career at 19 as a Lead Teacher for Special Education for three years. As a one-time military wife and mother of two, who has been divorced, widowed, taken care of elderly parents, and been downsized, Jonda understands how life transitions can affect life.
